"Cinderella: The Musical"  Cierella is a dutiful and loving girl who honors the spirit of her Mother by being the best daughter she can. Which is not the easiest thing to do when her two step-sisters truly enjoy making her life miserable.  Her new Step-Mother is equally upsetting as she enjoys forcing Cierella to do all the housework. They even nickname her "Cinderella: the soot-covered girl".  But a chance meeting with the Prince is about to change all that.  This is the West coast premiere of the latest work by Mark Sarto.  Mr. Sarto, whose ‘RUMPELSTILTSKIN’ and ‘ROBIN HOOD’  were both Shine! favorites, has received noted praise from the New York Times for creating ‘inspired musical theater’.  This new adaptation does not disappoint.  With its catchy tunes and witty dialogue, it is a wonderful new look at a classic tale of bullying and the power of kindness.
